The Crete Public Library is pleased to generally offer voter registration services from 10 am to 5 pm Monday-Thursday and 10 am to 4 pm on Friday. Evening and Saturday hours are occasionally available. Please call 708-672-8017 to confirm the availability of a deputy voter registrar before visiting the Library.
Primary Election: March 17, 2026
The information booklets below are compiled by the Crete Public Library from information available on the Will County Clerk’s website. The library staff are happy to assist with questions about voting or to help you look up your registration status, polling place, or print a sample ballot.
Important deadlines for the March 17, 2026 election:
- February 17 is the last day to register to vote in person (at the Library).
- March 1 is the last day to register online.
- After March 1, there are still ways to register. Learn more on the Will County Clerk’s website.
Registration Information
You can register to vote if you are:
- a U.S. citizen
- 18 years old by the date of the next election
- a resident of your precinct for 30 days prior to the election
- not convicted and incarcerated
- not eligible to vote anywhere else
To register, you will need two forms of ID. One must have your current address.
