
Crete Creative Gallery & School
Crete Creative is partnering with the Crete Public Library to strengthen art programming in our community! On the second floor of the Library, located between Coffee Connections and the Youth Services Department, you can find the new gallery space with rotating art exhibits for all to enjoy during regular Library hours

Opening Reception: Saturday, May 9
Homewood-based, and long-time collaborator with Crete Creative artist Chuck Michaels will be assembling a group show of portraits made with watercolors.

Diane Lee Show
Opening Reception: Saturday, June 27
Born in Korea, Diane Lee began her career as a junior high school art teacher before moving to the United States, where she continued to shape her practice at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently completing her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts at Columbia College Chicago. Her beautiful work is rooted in the traditions of textile art. Lee’s recent work explores family memory, emotional inheritance, and the subtle weight of loss.
